Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, To the saints who are in Ephesus, and are faithful in Christ Jesus:

The Apostle Paul introduced himself as divinely appointed to apostleship. He also made it clear his words were addressed to saints who are faithful in Christ Jesus.

The Christian is divinely appointed to be something to someone for God’s glory. If you are a Christian you have an assignment today.
Paul reminded the Ephesians of their responsibility as saints to be faithful in Christ. Faithfulness to known truth opens the heart to hear more of God’s revelation.
