Text: Ephesians 1:7

*ESV:

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace.

*ETS:
Through the blood of Christ we are cleansed and forgiven of all sin, experiencing the riches of God’s grace.

*DTFTD:

If sin is never recognized as a debt beyond our ability to pay, we will never know the joy of the debt paid. If sin is not seen as an incurable disease, we will never appreciate work of the only Physician who is known to cure. If you do not think much of the miracle of salvation in Christ, you do not know the riches of God’s grace.

*EDS:

Salvation began when we saw ourselves as sinners in need of a Savior – A Savior whose grace is greater than all our sin.
